ACUS Request for Information About Intergovernmental Partnerships

ACUS is requesting information about intergovernmental partnerships as part of the ongoing project Federal Agency Collaboration with State, Local, Tribal, and Territorial Governments

The project, which is expected to be put before a committee in the fall for the development of recommendations, examines agency approaches to collaboration with state, local, tribal, and territorial governments (SLTTGs). Among other topics, it explores the prevalence of public-public partnerships; the laws and policies that govern and shape these partnerships; the frequency and scale of federal collaboration with SLTTGs; practical considerations that policymakers consider in structuring, implementing, and maintaining such partnerships; and public availability of the policies and other information about these partnerships.

Jennifer Selin (Arizona State University Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law) and Pamela McCann (University of California, Sol Price School of Public Policy) are serving as consultants for this project.

Commenters should submit responses to ACUS by July 28.
