Comparative Administrative Law Scholarship Corner (July 2025)

The Comparative Administrative Law Listserv, which was established by Susan Rose-Ackerman (Yale, USA) and expertly administered by Neysun Mahboubi (UPenn, USA), is currently being reinvigorated by a terrific group of new administrators. These include Mariolina Eliantonio (Maastricht, NL), Yseult Marique (Essex, UK & UCLouvain, BE), and Oren Tamir (Arizona, USA). One of their many exciting initiatives is the introduction of a valuable resource for scholars and practitioners: a monthly round-up of new scholarship in comparative administrative law. Curated by Eduardo Jordão (FGV Law School, Rio de Janeiro), assisted by Eduarda Onzi, this Comparative Administrative Law Scholarship Corner is designed to highlight cutting-edge academic contributions from around the globe.

Each monthly edition of the Scholarship Corner collects the publication details of recent papers, offering a convenient way to stay current in the field. The July 2025 edition, for example, includes thirty diverse works ranging from global regulatory cooperation to administrative justice in Aotearoa, the evolving scope of reasonableness review, and the role of courts in environmental governance. From now on, I’ll be posting the monthly list of new titles, with links to where you can access the works. If you’d like to receive the full edition of Scholarship Corner, which also includes abstracts and complete publication details, please subscribe to the Comparative Administrative Law Listserv. By subscribing, you’ll also receive information about upcoming events and the opportunity to read and participate in conversations among a thriving international group of administrative law scholars.

Whether or not you subscribe to the listserv, you can have your work included in a future edition of the Scholarship Corner by emailing your request and publication details to Professor Eduardo Jordão at eduardo.jordao@fgv.br.
