Request for Panel Proposals for the 2026 ABA Administrative Law Fall Conference

We have begun the development of panels for the 2026 ABA Administrative Law Conference, which will be held virtually December 3-4, 2026. We expect to have twenty panels on various topics. In particular, we would like to include panels on the following topics: (1) the state of policymaking delegation and judicial deference after Loper Bright; (2) developments in the civil service, including Schedule Policy/Career, MSPB, RIFs, etc.; (3) appropriations, impoundments, and related budget and spending issues; (4) the latest on the major questions doctrine and nondelegation; (5) the latest on Jarkesy across the administrative state; (6) assessment of what has happened in this presidential transition, looking at OIRA, regulatory reform, and other developments; and (7) artificial intelligence in regulations.
We invite you to submit a panel proposal on any of the above topics or any other topics of interest. We generally receive more proposals than we can accommodate. When making our final selections, preference will be given to complete panel proposals with topics that are of general administrative law interest (rather than those of narrower substantive fields). Successful panel proposals will include speakers from both the private and public sectors and offer diverse points of view. Further, they will identify the CLE material to be provided to attendees (including at least 15 pages of original, substantive PowerPoint slides or their equivalent). Panel participants receive complimentary admission to conference proceedings.
To submit a panel proposal, please complete the Conference Panel Proposal Form available here: Conference Panel Proposal Form. Completed proposals must be submitted by 5:00 p.m. EST, on July 17, 2026, for priority consideration. We greatly appreciate your time and interest in contributing to the conference and look forward to reviewing your proposal.
